Hobbs State Park- February 2026
“It was a heart warming event for sure. Much positive energy warming my soul.
Did you see the two youngest ones on dart and her brother who ride with his mom? They we’re so scared to begin with but they pushed through their fears and in five minutes we’re exclaiming how much fun they were having. I heard the little bit say at least three times “ This is the best day of my life!”.
Then the girls from War Eagle came up and gave me a huge hug and said they we’re so happy to see me! They have been riding with me since they were in diapers!
The other teenagers that I just met said they want to come back and then the older ladies who were there really encouraged me by commenting on the great work these horses were doing. They meant that not only for the young ones but for them as well.
Lucy from Kansas rode twice, she said Woodstock was the perfect horse for her.
It was along day from 5:30 am till 10 last night when we got everything put away but it was very rewarding and worth it all”
Our second group of riders getting ready to go out on the trail. It was a great afternoon. Good people, good weather, and great horses.
