Your donation helps create real, measurable change in the lives of those we serve. Our ranching operation is not possible without the support of our love network. We have 27+ horses on the ranch, and in order to give the care these horses deserve without compromising their health- we need your support. When they are healthy and well, then they can serve the community and those who we love to love on by providing riding experiences.
How much does a horse cost?
Monthly expenses for each horse vary slightly, but the breakdown goes roughly as follows:
Monthly Feed & Hay Bill: $100 Per Horse
Every 6-weeks they receive a hoof trim and shoeing: $125-$175
Yearly Teeth Maintenance: $175 Per Horse
Worming & Vet Maintenance (varies*)
What other costs go into a ranch?
Every ride we take folks on, we have to fuel up and haul out from Siloam Springs.
We have tractors and trailers to help move items and cut grass- these require occasional maintenance.
General land up-keep: fencing, waters, etc.
Tack & Equipment for rides- to keep our riders safe.
